Who we are:
Since 1973, when Clear Lake Montessori was created by our original principal
Cheryl Cook, it has stayed a family oriented business. Her own children and
grandchildren attended for many years. With a group of experienced staff we
are able to offer a full Infant through Kindergarten Montessori education. Our
other part of our program, The Clubhouse is an after-school activity and
enrichment environment for older school age children (5-12 yrs.). We are able
to offer quality activity and enrichment programs to older children who may
attend public schools. In this way we hope to reach as many families and
children in our community that could benefit from quality education and
enrichment programs and have fun while doing so!

What we do:

recognized for. "We offer a wonderful education to young children. We want
our families to know that we look after their children as if they were our own."
The school takes personal pride in it's safety record. Each teacher makes the
effort to get to know each family and their child, so that we may best help each
child to develop all of their skills. Both academics and social skills are a focus
throughout a child's day. With a group of teachers that have been with the
school "forever" it is not hard to keep the success of each child as a common
goal.
Our teachers are well educated and very experienced ( most over 10 years).
The teachers know how to assess a child, and communicate their educational
needs to a parent. They also develop a rapport with each child, so that trust,
respect, and affection can lead to a working relationship. This relationship
needs to be established so that academics and social interactions can be
taught.
