Preschool Program
In our Preschool, we teach our children a rich curriculum
consisting of different areas. Some of these  are Practical
Life, Sensorial, Math, Language,  Science, Cultural, Art and
Music studies.
The three year old enters, ready to refine their life skills with
focus on gross and fine motor in Practical Life. They learn
about language and dimension, touch, smell, and their
overall senses in Sensorial. They then are introduced to
language and math skills which will form the stepping stones
to reading and doing addition and subtraction. As a child
becomes four, five and six years old, they will refine their
skills, learning to read and spell using movable alphabet (a
hands on tool) then 3 letter phonetic words, then onto harder
and more difficult words. In math they learn numbers, with
symbol and quantity coming together and then going into 4
digit addition, subtraction, then skip counting as an intro to
multiplication. By the end of their Kindergarten year they are
academically ready for much more advanced work than a
child is typically thought to be able to understand. They will
also learn about the world we live in, other cultures,
countries, continents, and ways of life. Information about the
animal kingdom along with exploration into botany, minerals,
and land/water formations are all a part of a typical
Montessori preschool day.

Each child practices social interactions as an important part
of the Montessori classroom. The room has a free flow to it
with children allowed to choose where they want to sit or by
whom. They practice social interactions on the playground
and during lunch times as well. The Montessori child learns
quickly what is and isn't appropriate in conversation and
play. Grace and courtesy are a daily focus to develop
manners and respect for one another. A sense of community
and thought for others is role-modeled and encouraged.

pre-teen children. We transport from 8
surrounding public schools to our facility for
