| Teen Club: A space all their own, to do their own thing, even if that's just chillin' out with friends!!! |
What We Do:
Our after-school program opens at 6:30 a.m. to take children to
local public schools. After our local schools are out, around 3:15
p.m., we pick up and bring children to our Clubhouse facility. We
are located conveniently near Bay Area Blvd. and Space Center on
Falcon Pass not to far from Clear Lake High school.
The children enjoy a snack, then start their scheduled activities.
Every 45 minutes a new class activity starts so that the children are
able to attend as many interesting activities as they want to be
involved in. Class choices range from indoor and outdoor games
to cooking, arts and crafts, dancing, karoke board games, outdoor
sports, and many more.
At Clubhouse your child will join old friends and make new ones.
They will learn about teamwork doing our group games and get
creative in our Art Room. They'll expand their mind with our
science fun building and learn how to beat their friends in chess.
There is literally something for everyone! Our children's ages
ranging from Kindergarten through 12 years.
For our oldest age group there is a special room all their own
called Teen Club in the summer. Our teens can lounge around
chatting with friends or play games like air hockey, pool, PS2, Game
Cube, X-Box, Wii, and other age appropriate games for teens. A
code of conduct contract is signed by every teen and good
behavior is rewarded with continued access to this room.
During the summer months, we have a full calendar with
everything from magicians and mime acts to jaunts to our local
pool, putt-putt golf, and the bowling alley. Some of Houston's finest
attractions end up on our calendar for the bigger field trips and
can range from theme parks, local museums, to Space Center
Houston and the Houston Zoo. The Calendar changes from year to
year with some of the favorites returning for the kids' enjoyment. It
never slows down and our staff does a terrific job of keeping it all
fun, safe, and organized.
